How long until I receive my loan?

It could be anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours! If you complete your application and send it to us before 2 p.m., we guarantee that you will get your loan by direct deposit the same day. Signing the contract only requires one click and is done through your client account.

Do I meet your criteria?

There are only a few things we consider when looking over loan applications. First, you must be over 18 years of age. You must live in Quebec, and receive your payroll through direct deposit. You also must have been employed for the previous 3 months, and not be in the process of declaring bankruptcy.

My only source of income is through social assistance (pension, insurance). Am I eligible?

You’re probably eligible if you receive a pension of $1,200 a month or more. Contact us to discuss your situation, and we will analyse your request.

What if I’m self-employed?

As long as you receive your pay through direct deposit, no problem!

Why wasn’t my application accepted?

There are a number of different factors that can lead to an application being denied. One reason an application can be denied is if you do not meet our eligibility criteria. You can also be denied if you currently have multiple other micro-loans or if you have had more than 5 NSF (Non-sufficient funds) charges recently. If your application was denied but none of the above applies to you, please contact us and we can discuss your situation.

How do I fax my documents?

Although fax is not as popular as it once was, fax machines are still readily available at many businesses. You can find them at Staples or Post Offices. Some pharmacies and convenience stores may have a fax machine available for public use as well.

I have a problem. I won’t be able to pay my loan on time.

We can always work something out that accommodates your current situation. We can postpone any payment if needed, as long as we are given 3 business days notice beforehand, and you have made at least 3 payments on your loan.  Therefore you are not able to defer your first payment. You should be aware that a $35 fee will be added to your balance due. It is always in your best interest to make sure your payments are made on the scheduled date, in order to avoid over $100 in NSF fees.

How does your paperless system work?

Our Instant Bank Verification System (IBV) is a service that allows us to receive a read-only copy of your bank statements for the past 90 days. That’s all we need to approve your loan application! No credit check! This service is as safe as that of large bank sites, and is the most effective and confidential technology available to get a loan quickly. What is instant banking verification (IBV)?

Instant banking verification is a simple process that is used between financial institutions to verify the accounts and transaction history of loan applicants. We use IBV to verify your identity and view a secure copy of your bank statement. It allows us to consider your request quickly, and respond fast. None of your information will be retained once the verification has been completed.

I don’t feel comfortable providing my information online, how do I know it’s safe?

We understand the hesitance, but rest assured that this system has been set up to increase the security and confidentiality of your request. With the same level of security used by online banks, this system will not remember your username or password. This is the easiest, quickest, and most convenient way to apply for a loan.

What will you do with my information?

Your username and password will be securely transferred to your financial institution so that it can verify your identity and send us your bank statement for the last 90 days. This information is required to approve your application and is done with the safest technology on the market.

Will you connect to my online bank account?

Never. We will never have access to your username or your password. The system only allows us to receive a read-only copy of your bank statement, which lets us process your request faster.

Do I need to use IBV?

We use our Instant Banking Verification system to make the loan process easier and faster for you. This information is necessary to approve your loan. The old method requires you to send 5 paper documents (bank statements, pay stubs, check specimens, identification and proof of residence). IBV allows you to get a loan without printing, faxing or sending any documents at all. However, the traditional option is always available.

What should I do with my personal information that I passed along?

During your credit application, you may have given confidential information to the agent to assist you in retrieving your statements that are required for the analysis of your application. If you have submitted your bank access card number, your user code or your password to access your online account, you must change it immediately. And, in doing business with us, you acknowledge that it is your sole responsibility to ensure the confidentiality and protection of your banking information.

What are your opening hours for the Holidays?

Please note that if you need to defer a payment, you will need to allow for added delays.

    You have until Wednesday December 19, 2018 before 3 pm to make a payment deferral
  • Monday December 31, 2018 and Friday January 4, 2019
    You have until Wednesday December 26, 2018 before 3 pm to make a payment deferral
